In short:

  1. A corporate winter party is most often held in January or February. The choice of venue depends first on the type of evening, activity, cosy atmosphere, dance party or large format.
  2. Winter rules out open rooftops and unheated terraces. All the venues listed here are covered and heated.
  3. Between 30 and 150 people, PAN Bar Paris is one of the few venues combining full private hire, a built-in activity and food, where most reception venues deliver an empty room to be entertained.
  4. Only two venues in this comparison publish per-person prices. The others work on quotes.

This comparison complements the overview on how to hold a company party in Paris and the ranking of bars by headcount to privatize a bar for a corporate event in Paris.

Activity venue, the format that revives teams after the holidays

In January, a group’s energy is lower than in December. A venue offering a group activity from the first hour mixes departments and avoids an evening spent standing around a buffet.

PAN Bar Paris, at 6 rue de Paradis in the 10th, is a shooting bar inspired by clay pigeon shooting. Each booth has guns and a tablet that launches a dozen games and is used to order cocktails and sharing plates cooked on site. Three packages are published. Booths for 2 to 66 people from 16 euros per person, a team building package from 36 euros per person with a drink, one dish for four and a group photo, and full private hire of the venue from 30 people, up to 150, with a dedicated host and the option of projecting a presentation. The venue is closed on Mondays, games are open from age 16 and the bar is for adults only.

Bomb Squad Paris, on boulevard de Sébastopol in the 3rd, is an action game. Teams of 2 to 6 players have one hour to complete physical and brain challenges and defuse a paint bomb. Starts every 10 minutes allow up to 60 participants over a two-hour slot, while the others enjoy the reception area and its themed bar, available for private hire with a walking dinner or buffet. Pricing is degressive, from 45 euros per player for two down to 28 euros for six.

Cosy atmosphere, the winter setting for small groups

Kimpton St Honoré, at 27-29 boulevard des Capucines in the 2nd, sets up a Winter Chalet each winter in its covered, heated 60 m² patio. The space can be privatized for a cocktail, a dinner or a private party, with a menu of revisited mountain classics. Its size reserves it for leadership committees, client evenings and small teams.

Barge, an evening on the Seine without the cold

La Péniche can be fully privatized on quai de la Tournelle, facing Notre-Dame, with other quays possible on quote depending on port availability. Its two levels host 50 to 250 guests depending on the layout, with a glazed lower deck equipped with a DJ area and a covered deck designed to host guests in every season. Boarding time and cloakroom need to be planned in the schedule.

Cellar or dance bar, for an evening that ends late

Le Privé, at 2 rue des Anglais in the 5th, is a reception venue set in a speakeasy-style vaulted cellar. It hosts 30 to 90 people for a walking dinner and up to 150 for a dance party, with a bar, a ventilated smoking room and a cloakroom, and can be hired every day until 6 am.

Le Marilyn, at 122 rue Oberkampf in the 11th, is a cocktail and dance bar that can be fully privatized for up to 120 people, or just its cellar for 40 to 60 people. It is closed on Mondays.

Landmark venue, for very large headcounts

The Cirque d’Hiver Bouglione can be privatized in full or in part for groups of 100 to 1,500 people. Its partner caterers can serve up to a cocktail for 1,000 people or a seated dinner for 400. The venue suits conventions and gala evenings, and exceeds the needs of a team of a few dozen people.

Limits of this comparison

Several caveats apply. Published capacities are maximums, often for a standing cocktail, and a seated dinner reduces them. Published prices only concern PAN Bar Paris and Bomb Squad Paris, the other venues working on quotes, which limits the budget comparison. No format meets every goal. Activity venues engage a group whose members barely know each other, but do not offer a late dance party. Cellars, dance bars and barges make people dance, but leave the entertainment to the organizer. Some companies combine both, an activity early in the evening followed by a dance party.

Event agencies and venue hire platforms make it quick to compare several venues on the same date. They do not replace a visit, especially in winter, when heating, cloakroom and public transport access weigh on the guest experience.

How to validate a winter party venue

Five points should be confirmed in writing before any deposit.

  1. Heating in every space, including reception, smoking and covered terrace areas.
  2. The cloakroom, sized for the actual headcount.
  3. Capacity by format, standing and seated.
  4. The exact content of the package, drinks, food, entertainment, projection equipment.
  5. The day and closing time, a Tuesday or Wednesday in January being easier to negotiate than a Thursday.

For a seminar held during the day before the party, the comparison on how to organise a company seminar in Paris details the room and activity options. For an evening combining activity, dinner and open bar in one venue, the comparison of all-inclusive corporate party packages in Paris separates unlimited open bar, package and minimum spend.

Verdict

To host a winter party in Paris, the type of evening drives the choice of venue well before the neighbourhood. Between 30 and 150 people, PAN Bar Paris stands out by combining full private hire, a shooting activity and food with a dedicated host, a rare combination in the Paris offer. For up to 60 people, Bomb Squad Paris offers the most physical way to kick off the evening. The Winter Chalet at Kimpton St Honoré suits small committees, La Péniche and Le Privé dance parties, and the Cirque d’Hiver Bouglione very large headcounts.

Capacities, packages and prices checked on the venues’ official websites in October 2026. The maximum private-hire capacity of PAN Bar Paris was confirmed by the venue.
