1. Sezame: a massage in a hotel spa
Sezame sells experiences in 4 and 5 star hotels “without spending the night”. At Le Meurice, the palace hotel on rue de Rivoli, the “Bien-Être au Palace” experience combines a 50-minute massage at the Spa Valmont, access to the hammam and sauna and lunch, for 250 euros per person in October 2026. Wecasa sends a therapist to the client’s home in a dozen large French cities, and also operates in the United Kingdom. The site offers couples massage and prenatal massage, and shows more than 658,000 reviews on its massage page. This format suits a Swedish massage as well as targeted work on tension, with no journey after the session.
The booking channel shapes the massage
A platform does more than open a calendar: it selects a type of venue. A search on Treatwell or Planity leads to salons and urban spas, while a hotel experience site does not list the neighbourhood salon that stays open until 8pm.
The real duration changes too. In a salon, one booked hour means one hour of treatment. In a hotel spa, the same booking often includes access to the hammam, sauna or pool, turning an appointment into half a day.
